For those who have kids that are in Kindergarten or above & that had special speech services prior to starting school come in...
How long did your child need speech services before going into a regular kindergarten class. or by the time your child reached kindergarten did they no longer need special speech services?
I know every kid is differnt and you really can't put a time on it but I'm just wondering how well your little ones did by the time they needed to go to regular school. My son is 3 and will be going to a specialized preschool for those with severe delayed speech. He will probably be there till he goes to kindergarten. I'm hoping he catches up by then

Not me, but a good friend. Her son had speech services in school till 1st grade. By 2nd grade, he no longer needed it.

My son had speech from 3-5 yrs old. In kindergarten he is no longer in speech, but I see him slipping with artic. and wish they would give it to him.
