My nephew would not stop crying at daycare when she started him, but after a few weeks he is 100% fine there. He was not going everyday, so it took him a bit longer to get used to it.

As a mom who's DS only lasted 2 weeks in a daycare I cant offer anything else. We didnt survive

I have never been in your shoes but I can offer you hugs. Maybe if it doesnt seem to be working out you could find a nanny that would come to your home and he may not be so upset. Just an idea I dont know any of your status so maybe thats not an option...

Honestly, starting younger might not have mattered. Your child KNOWS his parents at a young age too. Some children take longer to adjust. Others adjust for a while and then need to go thru a bit of an adjustment time again. Honestly, this is NORMAL. Have you sent in a familiar blanket or teddy bear? That might help. HUGS- I have gone thru this and it s ucks! But it does get better.

Thank you girls all for your support and hugs. DS was actually in an okay mood the rest of the night after we got home and actually gave me a few smiles. I am already getting nauseous thinking about tomorrow morning, but I will definitely have to stick it out and pray that this is just an adjustment period. Will keep you updated!
