Fire Island- please recomend places to stay w/ toddlers
we are thinking of doing an overnight trip one night with my 3 year olds if we find a decent priced hotel. Any rec's on where to stay, or what part is good. Just looking for relaxing day, beach, shop, dinner.

I can't think of many places on Fire Island that fit this description...maybe look into Ocean Beach. I think there is a hotel there. I think you would be better off going out East to Montauk. There are many more places to stay and lots more to do with little kids.

thank you... yea thats what it seems for what i am googling...we were gonna do montauk our vaca next month so was looking for something different for next week but it seems maybe just a day trip to FI may be our best bet.. thanks for the input....

Ocean Beach definitely has all of that. I don't know any specific hotels but they're there. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, ice cream, a playground etc for when you get tired of the beach.

the palms in ocean beach has a lot of different options. suites, bay front, several bedrooms, etc. they are really beautiful and clean. by far the best place imo to stay over there

yes, but the prices are over $400 a night .......
