Family member needs referral - oncologist for Goblet Cell Carcenoid?
A member of my DHs family, senior male, had an appendectomy and when they sent it to pathology it came back + for cancer. Goblet Cell Carcinema. According to google it’s a very rare type of cancer.
Anyone know of an oncologist who deals with the specific type of cancer ? I gave him a number to an oncologist treating a friends father, but I was wondering if there was a dr on Long Island that someone knows that treats this specific type of cancer

I had a rare type of breast cancer. Dr Hindenburg (Winthrop oncology) saved my life. He did a ton of reading and research to make sure I had the most up to date protocol. I would recommend him!

Dr. Mehrotra at LIJ.
He treated my MIL for stage 4 lung cancer. He was just wonderful with the treatment plan and also great with taking his time with the family to explain everything - and to answer our numerous questions.
He gave her a quality of life for 4 years, until she said enough, I'm done.
