family gossip
i never really discuss family drama with people. aside from my fh. imo, its no ones business and the people that need to know, already know and there is no need for discussion.
my fh's family always has something going on and his mom is always telling her girlfriends. this bothers me b/c what happens when we are married, is she going to discuss the ups and downs of our married life with her friends?
thoughts?
eta- i know i posted on here about my fmil's surgery. and i'm not talking about that, and i refrain from posting any familys stuff on here

My FMIL is like the lost sister of yours! 
She told evvvvvveryone that we were getting married at SMCC, before we'd even booked anywhere. I got sooooooo pissedoff...she was telling COWORKERS - coworkers that aren't even going to be invited to the wedding! (she thinks they are - HAH - surprise!)
I had the children of her coworkers seeing me in the store, telling me they were so excited about my wedding! W T F!

that would piss me off to no end!! and the thing is, she only spreads BAD news!! fh's cousins didn't even know we were engaged until a week later. the hell? but if one of us died, the whole world would know in a second..

i know .....
my step MIL is kinda gossipy. And it gets her in trouble on occasssion.
I don't think talking to her about it will change anything so
If i were you i would just try to stay away from it.
There is really nothing you can do...

It's more my mother than DH's mother. I have sworn my mom to secrecy on things and then have my grandmother, who I love but is judgemental, comment to me about it. Pi$$es me off! So I am select about what I tell her.
