Fall weekend getaway with kids
Looking to do a relatively inexpensive weekend with kids ages from less than a year up to 9 in late October.
Something along the lines of pumpkins, apples, and fall festivals to keep the kids interest. Going with another family so something with activities and good nearby restaurants a plus.
Any help?

We always love going to Ithaca. Depending on where you live it can be 5-6 hour drive though. But we take DD who is 2 every few months to get away. We've been going since she was 6 weeks old. I've even gotten some co-workers in the habit of going and they have 2 boys. There's a great science museum, apple picking, etc...go karts, lots of places to stay, great food, etc...

What about Villa Roma in the Catskills? There's also Split Rock in the Poconos. And if you're looking to splurge, Woodloch Pines is awesome.

We had a timeshare in Villa Roma growing up and Woodloch too lol...and split rock we did the water park last year. I was looking to not have to spend that much nightly.
