Exersaucer/Jumperoo / Bumbo Seat

Hi, I know there are lots of posts on all of these items but just wondered if there is an age where one of them works better than the others?

My dd is 15 weeks old and is lifting her head forward in the bouncy seat...feel like she needs something else.

I know lots of you use the bumbo seat
( sp!) ...to be honest they look uncomfortable to me- I know they cannot be as there wouldnt be so many people using them but are they supportive for your baby's back etc and what age did you start using them.

Stupid Q. do their feet touch the ground in the exersaucer?

Thanks....any feedback appreciated....just trying to move onto the next stage and keep missy entertained...she is playing with an empty water bottle at the momentChat Icon

I don't have the bumbo so I don't know. The exersaucer is great, he started using it when he was about four months. Only their tip toes should touch. He has two and he loves them both. When his toes did not reach yet I would put the phone book under his feet and a rolled up towel behind his back.

He likes the jumperoo also but I don't really use it. He gets over excited and does not know when to stop. I will prob end up selling it on EBAY. However I know other babies on here use it and they like it.

Re: Exersaucer/Jumperoo / Bumbo Seat

LOVE, LOVE the exersaucer and Jumperoo (not the one that hangs from the door, the stand alone one)

She used the exersaucer A LOT since she was about 3 1/2 months and we mainly used just that and when she got a bit older we introduced the jumper...she is 8 1/2 months and still uses both, a lot!

It's amazing when I think of how tiny she was and didn't really know how to play with the toys and now she is a pro!

The bumbo we have, but have only used a bunch of times. It was great when I had to go to the bathroom and wanted to see her Chat Icon

THanks for the replies...so I think I will get the exersaucer first and see how she likes that before getting the jumperoo....funny how my life now is all about keeping my DD entertained and happy...wonder sometimes what I did before she came along....really cannot think of how I filled my days....weird...
