Re: [elephant in the room]

My brother just graduated from Madison a few years ago. I'm fairly certain he didn't have sex with her though. He does love nuts, but of a different kind. I'm still tempted to text him and ask, though.

aww...mrs pb&j, myboysmyheart...i understand. you are jealous. she's hot. she's smoking hot. she's like one of the teachers who everyone knows, likes and is in love with. meanwhile youre overweight, never recovered from baby, with everyone walking by you not knowing you even exist. she's in park slope. youre out in stixvile. jealousy is so unattractive. just bc u have a bunch of hens around u who are equally jealous so they agree with u doesnt mean its okay. it's ugly behavior. whatever she really did is not good but to judge her rockstar good looks is pure delusion. now go take a jog in the park. maybe when husband comes home tonight he'll even consider holding you around that ample midsection. meoow-----

Yes, her a$$ will be hot too in jail. You know... where they put CHILD MOLESTERS!!!!Chat Icon

I found this post on google from 2 YEARS AGO!
Re: anyone know what happened to candy girl aka snickers?
"She deleted her account because a lot of crazy stuff happened to her, which I won't get into detail about. She is on FB if you want to FM me your name I will send it to her."

What crazy thing happened to her back then in 2010?? Whatever it was, it should shed some light on what happened just now in 2012.

And for those not in the know, the story involves an unbelievably attractive HS teacher with a mermaid tattoo and a lot of allegedlys including an asian student. The husband is a rich park slope lawyer with a young daughter by her and he's standing by her. You never know with the yellow journalism these days so stay tuned for the full story.

Wait a sec now I remember.
She posted those god awful boudoir shots of hers ON HER FACEBOOK WALL and SOMEONE sent them to her principal.

I have no idea if it was someone from here, one of her students, or some random a*hole who just didn't like her.

But I fail to see how that sheds any light whatsoever on this week's events, other than to establish a history of poor - no wait, CRAZY - decision-making.

She looks like a pedophile

I just randomly grabbed this post to respond to. I keep seeing the word pedophile thrown about on this thread and others dealing with this situation . . . not that I am defending what this woman did - but she is not a pedophile. A pedophile is a person who is sexually attracted to pre-pubescent children. A 16 year old doesn't qualify as being pre-pubescent.

I'm guessing that's what happens when you lack the ability to make wise decisions and post intimate pictures (of yourself no less) on the internet. Stupid, stupid girl.

Ok, she is a statutory rapist and soon enough will be a sex offender.

She's an accused statutory rapist, and will only be a sex offender if convicted. Never underestimate the power of jury nullification. This boy is now 17 years old. If she doesn't take a plea, he will be 18 or 19 by the time it gets to trial. The jury will take his exact birthday into account when deliberating. This is not a slam dunk conviction.

That's hysterical! Ugly behavior is having sex with minors....not judging people for having sex with minors.

As a teacher myself, I find her behavior disgusting...and her attitude about the situation disgusting. Even if she IS somehow innocent of all of this...the way she's behaving is deplorable.

And she really REALLY doesn't have "rockstar good looks"! Unless the rockstar you speak of is Steven Tyler. And then yes, I agree. (No offense to Steven Tyler...)

And here's a prime example of the hypocrisy spewed by snickers on an old post from 2010. I won't kick up the old post so babymakin does have a hissy-fit and start crying. I'll just paste it here...

ITA. Tenure is so important in education. There are a few bad apples, but for the most part, the teachers I know are so smart, hardworking, interesting and creative. I have seen good teachers absolutely destroyed because they were not protected by tenure. I have also seen horrible teachers get away with doing NOTHING--literally NOTHING in their classrooms.

As far as this teacher's case is concerned, it was pretty stupid of her to post that on her My Space. I think it's kind of stupid for her to even have a My Space. Facebook is a little different, they have decency standards.

It's difficult being a teacher in this age of technology. On one hand, you have to keep up with the technology, be computer literate, learn power point, smart boards etc. but on the other hand, you can't partake in some of the "fun" of the internet because there is a definite image that a teacher is supposed to uphold even if it seems a little outdated. And technology is so much more difficult when you become friends with your students and show them pictures of you in your underwear.

I wouldn't be surprised if she walks away from this with a slap on the wrist, sad as that is, but she'll still always be a statutory rapist/child molester who has shamed herself and ruined her name/her family's name in their community. And thanks to the internet she'll never get away from her reputation as a sexual predator.
