East Northport Restaurants

I hope someone can help me out...

Yes, it's another christening question, I know there have been TONS of them lately LOl...

My DH was Catholic, and I was Baptist, so when we were looking for a church to get married in, it was pretty difficult. We ended up turning Luterian and started attending a church in East Northport, which is where we also got married. We found a Lutherian Church around us out in Farmingville, but we have a much closer bond with the Pastor of the church that married us. We already asked him to have the Christening for our DS, and he was honored.

So we have the church part down. We aren't having anything huge and fancy ... prolly about 25 people...so we were thinking of having them all come back to our house for a nice backyard party. But to have people drive from their homes, to East Northport, then all the way out to Farmingville doesn't sound so nice....

I was thinking of just reserving a restaurant near the church...
Does anyone know of any good places in the area that aren't super pricey? There will be some children too... Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks sooo soo much!!

Nocello's

My baby shower was @ Nocello's. My mom did a brunch! It was awesome!
Not sure what time your church is though.
Also, Bonwitt I believe does Brunches.

We also used Nocello's for the "after funeral dinner" for my gram and 3 weeks later for my mom! The owner seriously was awesome to work with!

Ok.

I can't think of anymore except for Wendy's, Marios, and Sushi Park! LOL.
Oh There's Chilis too! LOL

I will say I like La Casa because its right on the beach! Since you will be having kids @ the party, they may like to play on the beach/playground after dinner.
It is a small restaurant though, so, for that, I'd call up or go take a look at it.
Im sure they can accomodate, but, I'd double check!

La Casa

I had my rehearsal dinner at La Casa and we had about 30 people and they accomodated everyone. We even had a "cocktail hour" under the arches outside on the beach (which I believe are repaired now) after the town knocked them down.

I went to a Christening at Nocello's and it was pretty good.
I went to a bridal shower once at Jade Palace (chinese) and they did a really good job there.

Re: East Northport Restaurants

Check out Ciros 107 in Kings Park, I know they use the restaurant on Sunday days for private parties. My BIL owns it, so if you call, tell him Mel sent you.
