East Meadow School District- IT PASSED!! WE HAVE A CONTRACT!!!
for those of you who followed last year, my district has been without a contract for three years. Many of you attended a rally last year to support us. I am happy to report that we have a proposed contract that will be voted on tomorrow and it looks like it will pass. I personally am very happy with the agreement and am so glad we stood our ground and did not give in!!!
Well find out tomorrow when we vote!!
If it passes, hello RETRO!!!!!!
Thanks to all who supported us!!!! Just goes to show to never give into somethng you dont believe in. we stood as a union and we prevailed!!!

Yup EM teacher here too! THank god this crap is settled! Thanks for all of u who helped us out by standing behind us....I am sure we will need your help again in another 3 yrs when this contract is up

You guys have been ABUSED by your board... I hope you get a great contract.
We were w/o a contract for a year and they finally settled the last week of June.
