DS has had a terrible acceident and i am sick to my stomach for tommorrow .....UPDATE AT BOTTOM
DS fell face down on our hard wood floor last night with his binky in and not only did he split his chin open but has also pushed his front tooth all the way up into his gum  when he smiles it looks like he has no tooth !!
there has been so much blood shed and no sleep last night as he was in so much pain .... he cant eat and has a really hard time drinking ...the ped said we have to go first thing in the morning to a ped dentist and i am a nervous wreck as to what he is going to go through 
DH is passed out on the couch and i am left to sit here alone worrying
has anyone else gone through anything similar and can calm my nerves .....
all we can do is try to keep him as comfortable as possible and try to manage his pain ...i just feel awful tonight about it all ...

OMG!!! I feel for you. My stomach just turned reading this!!!! DD fell but had no binky and just cut her lip open and chipped her tooth. And I thought that was bad. Good luck tomorrow.

This happened to 2 children I know. My cousin was running around in a store with my nephew and fell. He ended up pushing his front 2 teeth all the way back. Then my boyfriends neice fell off her bike and did the same thing. Both had to have them pulled. It's been about 2 years and neither of them had the new ones come through yet. They both were totally fine the next day!!

I havent been in the same situation, but we have had to take DS to the ER twice in the last month. I know its not the same, but I understand being sick to your stomach and how hard it is to watch your child in pain and not be able to do anything to fix it. I too was nervous to take DS to the orthopedist and was horrified when they told us his leg was broken. He was in so much pain. The upside is, once you see the Dr they can fix whatever is causing him pain and he will feel better soon! Good luck tomorrow and I hope he has a speedy recovery!!!!! Ill be thinking of you guys!

If the tooth comes out, put it in milk and go to the ER. They may be able to save it that way. Good luck.

my son did something like that when he was about 2. He's 10 now. He pushed his tooth up and bruised the front two teeth turning them a blackish grey. the ped dentist would not pull them because they weren't going to damage the adult teeth. so he had blackened teeth till they fell out. by the way the adult ones are fine!
a friend of mine daughter tripped over their dog and had to have hers pulled. my friend was devastated because it is her only daughter but she has since gotten used to it and the kid is beautiful anyway!

I tripped on a rug and fell down and knocked out my front teeth when I was 6 or so? I hope your DS feels better.. and I hope they can save his teeth

we are on our way to the dentist and i am beside myself as to what they are going to do ......
his 1st trip to the dentist ...so not how i had planned it

i just wanted to update ...
again thankyou all well our 1st trip to the dentist was quite the experience 
the tooth hasnt damaged the adult tooth beneath and the baby tooths root dosent look to be cracked but it is lose and the damage done to the gum is pretty bad .....reason for all the blood that still comes out
the ped dentist feels that we should leave it alone for now with a wait and see approach we have to go back in a month and see what is taking place ..unless any disscoloration or absess appears
my little man was a trouper and handled it as best a 2 yr old could .....
again thankyou for all your kind words and support ....
hey we had gone 3 months without a trip to a hospital or doctor i guess now i should add dentist to our list of professionals we need to see in emergencys
