DS has a low grade fever for the first time...(updated)

DH was told yesterday when he picked up DS from daycare that another child left early with a high fever. So, I've been checking DS's temp throughout the day b/c he has been very cranky and feeling warm. This afternoon it was 100.2 but I just checked it again and it is 100.8. I know that anything over 100.4 is considered a fever. Besides tylenol, is there anything I can do? He is 7 months old.

Update** We took DS to the Ped. this morning after his temp raised to 102.00. Looks like DS has an ear infection! So, we have him on antibiotics along with the tylenol for the fever. He seems to be holding up pretty well. Not too cranky but he won't really nap.

Now I'm starting to feel sick....I'll be heading to the dr. in the morning.

sorry DS isn't feeling so well...I think just stick to the tylenol for now. if that doesn't help i would call your doc before trying anything else. DD is almost 12 months and she actually has a fever today too, much higher though...102 was the highest. Doc said if it goes over 102.5 to give her motrin.
