Do you use bottled water to mix the formula?

I'm such a rookie at formula... we use the RTF kind (we are supplementing)... but I want to switch her to Gentlease... figured I'd just use Bottled water... wanted to see what everyone else does... thanks!

I only use nursery water or bottled water if I run out and don't get to the store that day.

We use a Brita filter, so I guess the answer is yes! Chat Icon

yes.
we use poland springs.
we all drink it and get the 5 gallon delivery- it is about $30 a month for 3 five gallon bottles which lasts all month for both bottles and regular drinking.
It's great b/c it has a hot water spout so tea is always at the ready!

Bottled water only. I fill up the bottles before we go out or bring water with us.

Re: Do you use bottled water to mix the formula?

see, I am new at this as well... I would def. think of using bottled water... then yesterday my friend told me that her friend's pediatrician said bottled water has a lot of minerals that regular water doesnt have and therefore leads to teeth corrosion in kids... I have no idea if thats true or not, just found it interesting...

We use a brita as well. I bought a small one that we leave on the counter that is just for DS's formula.

I use tap water. I didn't when I was in the city though.

ETA: Warm tap water is the best on his belly for some reason, when I use cold water or hotter water he doesn't like it.

I was using the Brita, but I noticed those little black dots of carbon end up in the pitcher. Now I use bottled water.
