At my age (50) and what I have gone through in my life I don't think I look too bad. Yes I am overweight, yes I have tons of Grey hair I need to hide, and yes the laugh lines are showing. But I don't think I look too bad for my age. And if people don't think so phhhtttt to them. :)

I was teased in grade school for how I looked. So right off the bat that gave me low self-esteem as I got older.
I think I clean up pretty well when I put effort into it. I have days where I feel self conscious.

I think I have a pretty face, but I'm very overweight and have been bullied and made fun of since I was young, so my self esteem is next to nothing. It's a challenge I am working on every day- even after being with my DH for almost 6 years.

I was beautiful all my life and never realized it. I decided to stop looking back and realizing how beautiful I was and start realizing I am beautiful now. Whether I see it or not. I just can't look at another picture of myself ten yrs ago and be angry at the stupid girl who couldn't see herself.

I really don't know how other people percieve me. My DH thinks I'm attractive. I try not to focus on what other people may or may not think because it doesn't really matter at the end of the day.

I can totally see where you're coming from. When I was at my heaviest and lowest self esteem wise after I had DS, I looked at photos right before I found out I was PG & I would think "you were so foolish, and you thought you were so fat here!"
Thankfully I've gotten down to below my PP weight & in a way. I'm somewhat grateful I had that dark period, so I can appreciate who I am and where I'm going in the future.

I have huge self-image issues. I have lost 175 so far and still see the "other" person in the mirror. When I was tiny in high school I never realized how pretty I was. Lately, my face looks older to me and I'm seeing more wrinkles. DH thinks I'm beautiful so I try to remember that's the important thing.

You should be so, so proud of yourself...that is an AMAZING and inspirational loss, and you look fantastic. And you have the benefit of being a beautiful person inside and out

On my best days, with my make-up done nicely & my hair colored & straightened to perfection... still not even in the slightest bit attractive. To make matters worse I photograph horribly so Im humiliated by pictures of me. I had a nice body but had kids young & my bikini days ended early. The only plus I really have going for me is the big boobs. I have horrid self esteem.
