Just redid kitchen and trying to decide what to line vs. not.

i'm not lining any of them- i'm doing mine right now too and they're brand new cabinets. I don't see the point in lining them if they're new.

Nope. I only have a waterproof liner in the cabinet under the sink.

I put a waterproof liner under the sink. I used to have liners under my good dishes, but moved them to a China hut so no liner.

I did it when we first moved in and it was nothing but a pain in the ass.
It kept bunching up and moving under the plates.
Dh got frustrated one day and ripped it all out and it's soooo much better now

I only lined the ones that held my pots and pans. Especially my cast iron. Can be greasy and leave marks/scuffs.

But not the regular Cabinets that hold dishes, glasses, etc.
