Do you let your 1 year old have a blanket in the crib??
Houdini, I mean Brody has found a way to get out of his sleep sack at night. It's seriously like his mission. I have watched it on the video monitor.
Can he have a blanket? Do you use one? I was sooo paranoid with Ava, that I didn't give her a blanket or pillow till well over 2.

DD didn't get one until she was 2, but yes DS did get one when he was 1. I started with a crocheted (sp) blanket with the holes, but he'd get his fingers caught in the holes. So we gave him a regular toddler blanket, but he never keeps it on. He uses it as a pillow.

DD sleeps with a blanket every night, since she was about 9 months old.

I gave DD a blanket when we switched her to the toddler bed, but she still wants to wear the sleepsack. She is also a little houdini and I have been putting the sleepsack on backwards for months now.

Same here. DD didn't have any pillows or stuffed animals in there either. But I kind of wish I started trying with a blanket a little earlier b/c she refuses to even keep a blanket or pillow in her crib, so it should be interesting when she moves to a bed with sheets

I never used a sleep sack, and actually swaddled DD in a blanket. She's never not had one.

My DD Emerson is almost 1 and she's had a receiving blanket and a soft cuddle blanket in her crib with her since she was 8 months old.

DD didn't get one until she was about 18 months. I didn't see the need, she has other items to snuggle with and the blanket wouldn't have stayed on.

ds has had a blanket in his crib since he was 7 months.... first just a receiving blanket then a fleece one... he uses it more as a pillow or comfort measure

DD uses a nitted/crocheted (spelling) blank with the holes in it...I feel better with that kind.
