Do you have to use primer if you use Behr Paint?
Someone told me if I use Behr, I don't have to use a primer first.
Right now I have a mustard color wall I want to paint over using a slightly darker color (a brown).

You should still use a primer. It will sort of erase the mustard color, so that your darker color is true, and not a combination of the two.

I always prime, I feel like the color and overall look comes out better.

I've never used a primer with Behr paint. But, coincidentally, I always ended up going darker than the color underneath.
I recently used Ralph Lauren paint, without primer, and that's peeling after a few months. :(

We just finished painting the rooms with Behr premium. We did not use any primer and it turned out great!!!
