Do you feel sick if you do not eat for a few hours?
I had a late lunch at 2...and I am just about to have dinner..but I am having a big time sick feeling...not sure if its cuz I have not eaten ANYTHING since 2 or if I am coming down with something..

hmm, well 6 hrs is a while to go without eating. I don't think I ever felt sick though

I ahve had the crockpot going for 8 hours, so its hot in the house right now..so maybe thats contributing...
I won't do this again!

No never...
Ok well yes, now that Im Pregnant.
But I used to think it was weird when people said that.....My Mom starts to feel weird if she doesnt eat every few hours. In the past I could easily go 6-8 hours without eating and not notice( except for the fact I would OVEREAT once I did  )

I won't do this again!
why don't you have a piece of fruit or a glass of OJ now, unless you're just about to eat. if it's low blood sugar, that should help.

Yes, if I don't eat when my body is used to eating, I get severe headaches.

My mom feels weird too if she does not eat every few hours..
Well, when I am at work I feel like I am always snacking..so on the weekends, I am usually pretty good...but for some reason, this time, its killing me...but maybe its the SMELL coming from the crockpot for 8 hours!!! Usually I am not home when its cooking!

You could be dehydrated. Sometimes I feel nauseous when I'm dehydrated.

Extremely.
I almost passed out on the train over the summer, so I really keep an eye on it now.
I get hypoglycemic if I don't eat every few hours, and it depends on what I eat. if I eat a good meal with vegetables and rice or whole wheat bread, I can go a lot longer than if I eat something that causes my blood sugar to spike and then drop.
I think you should go to a doctor. I had stptoms for 10 years, dizzyness lethargy, a weird kind of nausea, and I really didn't pay attention until one day I walked around all day without eating and got extremely sick (I posted about it a few weeks ago).
What the docs believe is that my body stores the sugar as fat and clears it from my bloodstream before I have a chance to burn it, and it leaves nothing left ot use. It's a pain in the butt, but I try to eat every few hours, stay away from refined sugar (easier said than done) and I carry glucose tabs in my bag for emergencies. I don't know if it's psychological of if they really do work that fast, but if I take a glucose tab I feel better in minutes!

Oh I do too. You do NOT want to be around me when my blood sugar is low. Sometimes that's the first symptom I notice and say 'wow this is bad' if it drops too low. I find myself being really mean and irritable and it's completely beyond my control. it's very weird

I get shaky, nauseous & weak. If I go a really long time I get a headache and stomach ache too.

If I dont eat for a while, then when I do it makes me feel even worse! Its like your body doesn't even what the food at that point, its weird!

If I don't eat or skip a meal I get dizzy, feel sick to my stomach, out of it, etc etc! It's the worst-- normal for me though!

I have to eat small meals all day and drink water. I've never been able to eat 3 big meals a day. I'm starving in between and I fill up so fast!

I get nausea if I don't eat for a long time. I need to eat every 4-5 hours or I'll feel faint.
