Do you buy lunch for the workers in your home?

I have these 3 guys putting in my kitchen and theyve been here 4 days so far.
the 1st day i offered to pick up lunch which i felt was the right thing to do, being that they came here from NJ and knew they'd be working a long day.

So i got them pizza and salads and drinks.( i asked them what they wanted,called to have it delivered &payed for it)
...day 2&3 the same thing, now its day 4 and they said they'd prefer hot heroes from the pizza place, or perhaps Chinese food....

I didnt like the idea of these idiots trying to take advantage of me in my own home,I think it has been nice of me to get them lunch in the 1st place...
so i left them the phone # for both places and said they can use my phone when they decide....and took my kids &left(i had a dr appt-i didnt leave because of that)
Am I being cheap? Its really not the $$, i wouldve been happy to continue to buy them lunch if they were a bit more humble about it-not throwing requests at me!

That is a bit rude to start demanding things. If they don't like the pizza, then they should bring their own lunch. That is super nice that you have done it for three days. I remember my mom getting pizza too when she had her house redone, but they didn't expect it every day and she only did it the first. the foreman of the jb came around the other days asked what the guiys wanted and went and got it for them.

That was so rude. Don't feel cheap. Believe me you went well above and beyond what most people do.
