Disney Tix Question

I'm going next year for 6 days and was wondering if the base park tickets was enough. Should I upgrade to the park hopper and water park? My girls will be 6 and 3 by then.

Sue, it depends on what you want to do and when you're going. You don't need the water park unless you've done WDW several times and you're just going to hit the highlights.

You don't NEED the Park Hopper but it's great to have, especially if you want to dine in one park and visit another each day. For the dining flexibility alone, most of our clients get the Park Hopper.

It also works well when the littles want to ride Dumbo again but you'd really like to Drink Around the World - compromise! You get to do both.

We never do the water parks. There just isnt enough time for us to do it all so we skip the water parks and are just fine with that.

But I could not live without the park hopper. MK has few dinner options, and DS1 loves fireworks. Therefore we have often spend the day at MK and then hopped over to Epcot for dinner and fireworks.

We have also spend half a day at one park to find its too crowded or whatever and then skipped over to say MK in the PM.

I never get the extras as we don't do the water parks yet maybe when the girls are older but I think I read if you only plan to do one water park one day it was cheaper to get a seperate water park ticket unless you plan to do the extras.

I always get the hopper though. We hop every day as we only do mornings at AK and HS. Then we do dinners at EPCOT or MK? I like that if I want to go to the MK for the parade or fireworks I have that option. Also what if you want to go to fantasmic one night but go to the MK that morning you can. You can go back to any park to do something you loved or missed. It gives you more options while you are down there.
