I am loving this show -- i havent read anything about the story or listened to the podcasts. I keep feeling like each week could be the end. Is the next episode it?
I love it too- it's right up my alley because it reminds me of a lifetime movie.
I was late to the game watching it so I would watch the first 5 or so episodes on demand- I caught up last week and was so sad I couldn't just watch it whenever I wanted- i had to wait for Sunday for the new episode to come out.
It's on my DVR now.
Not sure how many episodes there are.

This past episode was a let down. So much background and things we already saw. I guess they wanted us to see it from his perspective but honestly that wasnt anything we didnt already know. I guess we find out what happens next week. I still havent read anything about the story online and im trying to hold out. I think he winds up killing one of the daughters but maybe im wrong.

I agree...this past episode was unnecessary. I was bored. We already know he's psycho--didn't need the "behind the scenes" view.
I'm excited for the finale. I already know how the real story ended but I'm still looking forward to see how it all goes down.

I finally caught up on Sunday's episode last night. I actually enjoyed it. I liked seeing the background of scenes we already saw and what led up to them.
Like they showed how John got that woman to break into the house in the beginning episodes.

I knew the ending already. I saw the oxygen special too with the real people. She is just as quiet and soft spoken as they portrayed her. The cops said it was sheer adrenaline that kept her fighting for her life. Her zombie apocalypse obsession also helped knowing that the kill shot was to his eye. Eeeeek

I had a feeling he was going after the daughter but my gut was he was going after the other daughter. Then while watching the episode i changed my mind -- once she said she was going away for the weekend it was like RED FLAG. But i did not expect to see her fight him off like that. I give her credit. As I was watching it I was thinking it must come up that she has taken self defense classes -- i guess not, but wow. Glad that man is no longer with us. What a scum bag. I recorded the oxygen special but im too busy watching YOU on netflix right now to watch it LOL

I thought it was weird that the mother was upset when she heard john was still online dating and when she saw the wedding picture in the trailer. she really loved him and its like but he almost killed your daughter... strange!

I think she was mourning for the man she THOUGHT he was. Like wow, I really thought he was a great guy when I met him, I really thought we could be happy. And she lost that person (He didn't really exist but she thought he did...) kwim?
So I had been avoiding this thread because I DVRed the finale. I'm home not feeling well today so I watched it.
Definitely didn't see that coming either. They focused so much on the other daughter and her hatred for John- so if anything I thought it would somehow come down to her... and to be honest I'd thought he kill or injure her.
What a fuking psychopath this man was!!
