Did you put diapers and wipes on the registry list?

Also, laundry detergent...My friend told me I should but I don't know if that's weird.
I was just planning to go to BJ's and stock up on all that stuff and I'd rather get the essential things like high chairs and stuff like that.
Just wondering what everyone did.

Also, what type/size diapers did you buy? ARe any brands better than others?

I did not for my first PG, but a bunch of people bought me diapers and wipes anyway. I also did not put detergent on my registry, but I am very picky about that stuff.

I don't think it is weird to have though, and my registry this time is mostly diapers and wipes. (I am using G diapers this time).

I put all three on my list. I didn't get the detergent at all and I got lots of diapers and wipes that were not on the registry.

I put diapers and wipes. I put a box of wipes. Newborn diapers buy only a small package. I also put a big box or size 1. My sister wanted me to put detergent on the registry, but I didn't see the point.
I almost didn't put any of them, but my sister talked me into it.

I put diapers and wipes but not detergent and I di dnot put many big ticket items on the registry. I received diapers wipes and detergent more than I put on the registry.

I did, but I also looked at the registry as a shopping list of sorts-- a way to organize everything I needed to buy. I doubt anyone will buy that stuff unless they are putting together a gift basket or something.

I would not.

You do not know how big/small your baby is going to be and what diaper or wipe will work best with them!

Absolutely!!! I put on one box of Pampers Swaddlers Newborn size diapers and one box of Pampers Swaddlers Size 1 diapers and a 6 pack of Pampers Sensitive wipes.

No, I find it odd registering for items that are just gonna be thrown away or are too personnel, they include:

- diapers & wipes
- diaper pals
- breastpumps
- nursing supplies like bras
- etc.

I did, but no one bought them, maybe people thought it was wierd

I am going to, but we're going to use cloth diapers and I don't want a ton of disposables. I feel like even if you don't register for them, people will get them, atleast that's how my family works :)
