Did you know right away?

Hi Ladies. I'm not PG yet but we are TTC. I've read various things from people (not on LIF) about how they knew right away, from conception, that they were PG. It piqued my curiosity and so I'm just wondering if any of you ladies knew right away.

Thanks! Chat Icon

I didn't! I felt completely fine - and was surprised i was pregnant - i was expecting to be nausceous and sick to my stomach - in fact my pregnancy was smooth sailing to the end - i didn't even feel pregnant till i felt the baby moving around 17 weeks!

well...I felt implantation===Ii was sitting down---felt it was said that was it...
and it was...(thank u God)

Re: Did you know right away?

My husband and I both had a feeling the moment of conception. But I was told it was going to be really hard for me to get pregnant so I thought it was just wishful thinking. Turns out we were right though...

Re: Did you know right away?

I didn't know at all. I didn't even take a test until I was 4-5 days late. But I think I knew by the time I was 2 days late, I just didn't want to psyche myself out.

Re: Did you know right away?

I knew after conception with my daughter. I just had a feeling that it worked. With my second pregnancy I knew a week after conception, again had a feeling and tested 5 days after that.

Re: Did you know right away?

I didn't know until I was 9 weeks along. Chat Icon I mistook implantation bleeding for a period and my cycle was messed up from going off of the pill. I did take 3 tests, but got a very faint line, which I thought was negative. The dr. confirmed that I was pg with a blood test at my annual appointment.

Re: Did you know right away?

I had a feeling after conception, but then thought that maybe it was just me being anxious. Then, about a week later I got really sore bbs and I knew in my heart that I was pg.

Re: Did you know right away?

I knew about 9 days after b/c i felt funny.I wasnt myself I was dizzy and out of breath a lot. It just felt like the room was always spiining.I also had cramps way before AF was due.

Needless to say I just had a natural MC on Sept. 4th and now I am having the same feelings like i did last time I was preggos.

Hmmm I dont know but we'll see.

Re: Did you know right away?

I just "knew". Even when I took a test and it came up negative, I knew. I just felt different. hard to explain.

Re: Did you know right away?

Not really. When I had spotting, I got suspicious, but I used to have spotting on BCP and I had just gone off it a few month's prior, so I thought maybe it was my period being wonky..

I did feel more tired, but I was also taking grad classes at night, so I figured that was why.

Nope, I thought I was getting AF and when she didn't come I thought back to all the signs I missed.

No- we'd been trying for several months, with no results. I was getting discouraged and I took that month off from temping and charting. I tested on a whim, and nearly fell over when I got a positive. I realized later that I was already 4 days late when I did test.

Re: Did you know right away?

Both times that I tested positive I had a gut feeling that I was. And I remember being at the store buying a pregnancy test a few times having a gut feeling that I was wasting my money and that it would be negative. Chat Icon
