Did anyone opt for further genetic testing after they got the results from their ultrascreen?

We met with a genetic counselor to discuss the results of our ultrascreen last night. Everything was fine, the thickness at the neck was right at the cut-off... she mentioned that even though it's at the cut-off she wouldn't loose sleep over it, but she was pushing more genetic testing and fetal echocardiograms. The results were sent over to my OB's office and I haven't heard from them about it (which leads me to believe that they're not concerned).

I'm just curious if anyone else went for further genetic testing after the ultrascreen.

we did, sort of. there is a genetic predisposition for heart abnormalities in my family, both my father and grandfather passed away very young from these abnormalities and several of my siblings (including my identical twin sister) have minor abnormalities.

Even though DS looked fine at my ultrascreen and level II, we opted for a fetal echo It was good to have the reassurance from a specialist that all appears to be ok!
