Did anyone get a rash after doing their transfer?
I just had my transfer on Friday, Feb.1 and I have been getting more and more itchy. The itchiness is now a full blown rash on parts of my arms (wrist, inside of my elbow, and near my armpits) across my chest, and on my thighs. It reminds me of when I was pregnant with my son and I developed PUPPPS at the end of my pregnancy. It just keeps getting worse and worse.
At first I thought it was a reaction of the anesthesia after my retrieval. I had a site reaction to the bandaid they put on me, and then a few days later the itching started. The OB was skeptical about the connection to the anesthesia b/c it is such a delayed reaction. Has anyone had any experience from this?
The only med I am on is Endometrin, and he said it if was a reaction to that it would be localized to where the endometrin is.
Anyway, of course I went on the internet and there were so many reports of people developing rashes and then later on finding out they were pregnant, now my hopes are up! Just figured I would ask. At least this is keeping my mind occupied while I wait for my pg test on Monday! :) Thanks!

I got a rash from using progesterone (both endometrin and crinone). It was mainly on my thighs, but it drove me crazy for weeks until I realized it might be from the progesterone. My allergist told me to take zyrtec and it helped. I was so glad to stop the progesterone at 10 weeks. Check out "auto-immune progesterone dermatitis"
