When there are problems that need to be handled who handles them (I am talking outside problems, not problems between you and your DH)?

Depends on the situation. We're both pretty capable of handling anything that comes our way, but sometimes I throw the "you're the man, handle this ..." Totally wrong, but sometimes I don't want to call the mechanic!

If it's a problem like the phone company or cable etc.... then it's DH. He is a pro and I let him handle.
But if it's family stuff- we've decided that each handle our own family.

Totally depends on the situation.
We usually ask eachother what our thoughts are on the matter at hand.
But, I probably handle most of the problems that arise because DH is not the type of person who asks a lot of questions. He tends to go with the flow.

OMG Rachel that is so us!
For example, today, I had to go back to the car dealership and handle the police report and everything from our car being hit. I constantly am telling him to grow a set already. My husband let's everyone walk all over him. It's annoying 
To his credit he handles all the bills and is a wiz when it comes to get us mortages and car loans and things like that but when it comes to dealing with problems like the car thing or the furniture being damage-nope he is a wuss!

It depends on what it is. I have a lot more time than DH. DH works more than I do and he doesn't have a desk job like I do. But if it involves manual labor or fixing anything- its all DH.

Depends but I am definitely the one with the "B A L L S" for negotiating and doing the wheeling and dealing. Even my FIL said it. For example, I've handled 90% of the leg work in buying this new house but once I go back to work (teach in a high school) I will not have easy phone access and he's just going to have to handle it. I'm always the one to do the initial negotiating... he's too nice. I learned a lot from the men in my life about that.

I wouldn't say he "wears the pants" but Ray is definitley the smooth taker out of the both of us, thats why he is in sales! So usually he is good at getting his way so I make him handle a lot of stuff
