I think he will wait for the investigation to be complete. I think If he is not cleared he will resign. At least I hope that’s what he would do.
Aside from other stuff he may have done. I would have to agree with waiting to see if these charges are actually true.
In general I find it hard to believe all these women were harnessed but waited this long to say something. I find this for all situations like this. There is no reason to wait so why people wait is beyond me. ( I am not taking about rape victims at here I get trauma like rape is hard to overcome and makes it hard to speak about.)
I think one thing that should be taken out of all these people waiting so long to report supposedly abuse is teach your children to not wait to say something. No job is that important your self respect and speaking up is more important than anything else!

This exactly. Imagine resigning from ur position (that u might have worked so hard to get) because ur boss who has so much power is sexually harassing u AND speaking up against him. That person can pretty much kiss their career goodbye cause most likely they won’t be able to continue in their field anymore. I think this was the reason why these women didn’t have the courage to speak up when it happened.

I get all this but I still stand by my statement. I would never not speak up if I was that uncomfortable and felt harassed if that means I loose my job over it so be it. My self respect is way more important than any job. (Granted people have their own level on what they are ok with and what they aren’t but the sentiment is still the same)
I also wouldn’t go quietly if I got fired or faced repercussion for me complaining. I would be opening my mouth and going to everyone I can to make sure the know what’s going on isn’t right.
I get people are not like this but that’s why I said we should be raising our children to be like this!!
