Credit score affect on car lease approval/rates?

Ive never financed or leased a car..so how much does your credit impact the rate you get and does anyone ever get denied totally? For either a lease or finance...heavily leaning towards leasing though

We dont have bad credit but with us just opening up our mortgage in May, our credit went down a bit based on the debt to income ratio basically..so Im a little worried because we will have to get a new car (or 2) within the next few months.

Your rate is a reflection of your credit score. It shouldn't have went down that much with your mortgage, unless your not paying it.

I was doing some research on this topic recently. What I've heard in general is that you won't get totally denied unless your score is under 600, but that can even be flexible.

no, lol, we are definetley paying our mortgage every single month. we were in the low 700s which i know isnt considered excellent in the first place but it wasnt bad and it had even been going up, abut as soon as the mortgage hit the credit report, its now its in the high 600s.. we dont have any other debt at all so thats the only thing.
