Convertible Car Seat Recommendations
We were thinking about getting one of the Britax seats. We asked for gift cards for Buy Buy Baby and got close to $300
Now we are thinking to try and get a less expensive seat so we can get 2
What seats do you recommend. We were looking at the Britax because of the safety reviews - that is our main concern with the seat

We have 2 of the Evenflo Triumph Premieres. They are also highly rated but much less expensive. You could get 2 for $300.

We have a Britax for mine & Dh's cars. But my parents have the Evenflo Triumph, and my inlaws have the Graco Comfortsport. High ratings with consumer reports and baby bargains, and much less expensive!

I have a britax for my car...one thing though I got the roundabout and if I had it to do all over I would have got the marathon which goes to 60lbs I think. DS is 30lbs at 12 months so I dont know how long my Britax will last.
I bought my ILs a Alpha Omega Elite convertible (about $150+)...thing I like about this is that it goes from car seat to booster, so techincally it can be used from 5lbs all the way to 100lbs.
When DS does outgrow his Britax I will get another one of these. It doesnt look as cushy but DS doesnt sleep much in either car seat so I cant say. A friend was in a pretty serious accident when her DS was young he was in an Alpha Omega Elite and she said it held up well and he didnt have a scratch.
I have a friend who has the graco comfortsport and she loves that!

We have 2 Evenflo Triumphs and love them!! Highly rated in consumer reports and DS loves it.

we just bought the Maxi-Cosi Priori™ Frisbie Convertible Car Seat
It is $200 and it holds from 5-35lbs and 19-36'' rear facing; 22-40lbs and 34"-43" fwd facing
