Complete Women's HC - Dr. Nadell
Dr. Nadell was diagnosed with lung cancer.
He has been given 3-6 months. So sad.

He has been out for quite sometime and Dr. LoPresti and Dr. Dilena were covering his patients. A friend of mine went in for an appointment yesterday and they told her. I am pretty sure he is no longer working.

UGH I knew he was sick but didn't know details....
how do you know this exactly if you don't mind my asking - I know a L&D nurse at Winthrop and all they knew was cancer but said it was VERY hush-hush and none of them knew anything more.
This is so very sad - my prayers go out to him....I spent many of my hours in labor just hanging out with him b/c it was a slow day...Dilena is my main doctor but Nadell was really fun to have around that day.
I am so sorry to hear this
ETA: sorry just saw you said they told your friend at her appt yesterday...so sad. Are they replacing him? I know they have been SO busy since Nadell went on leave.

Wow. I was in in October. He seemed fine. 
I am seriously SICK over this.

I'm so sad - I'm Dr. Lopresti's patient but saw Nadell for rotations during my last pregnancy. He did my son's circumcision.
My prayers are with him and his family.

I just heard about this from a friend at Winthrop and i am beyond devistated. I worked for him for 3 years and he was like a mentor to me when I was in school to become a Physician Assistant. I've also been a long time patient at his office. He delivered my first daughter who was 5 weeks early. It was a scary experience and having him there was so calming. He hung out with us in the room just talking and laughing. I just saw him right before he went out on leave and he looked great. It's so unfair that something so awful could happen to such an amazing person. I haven't stopped crying since I heard the news on this yesterday. I'm so so so sad for him and his family. He is a wonderful person.

I just smiled so wide when I read this  because when my first son was born the delivery and my recovery were a NIGHTMARE and 6 months later when I was pregnant with #2 I was terrified throughout the pregnancy. I made Dr. Nadell NUTS with questions and worrying, but when it came time to deliver he stayed with me throughout my entire labor, sitting on my bed and watching TV and talking and laughing with my DH and me. He made sure I was comfortable and not scared and I will appreciate and love him forever for being so compassionate and kind.

Oh no, I am devastated to hear this
He is an amazing dr. Dr. LoPresti is my main dr, there, but Dr. Nadell checked DD and I out of the hospital and was my last appt before she was born and was so, so nice.

He looks great - he's such a sweet man - so informative - I was very happy to see him after hearing the news here.

I've always trusted things I've heard from girls on this site....I told a good friend of Dr. Nadell's the news i read here and she was beyond devastated. She used to be a labor/delivery nurse at winthrop so knows him from there.
I was MORTIFIED when she called him to say how sorry she was to hear the news and she called me to tell me there is no truth to it....
Learned my lesson not to trust any rumors I hear.
The OP here sounded so positive though....saying she heard it from Nadell's office....

I am a relatively new patient there and one of my first visits (in late April) I was surprised to hear was scheduled with Dr. Nadell after reading on here that he only had a few months to live. He was very chipper and chatty and seemed to be in great shape. I was a little but chalked it up to misinformation.

One of the receptionists told my really good friend AND she heard it from a couple of the Winthrop nurses as well. So this rumor was going around long before I posted it here.
Obviously if I knew it wasn't true, I wouldn't have posted it.
So glad he's ok!
