Commuters-Hicksville Train Station
Does anyone know where I can park during the week day if I am not a resident? I think there are some private garages..anyone know the price or where located?
Are they checking stickers at the mall or Sears? TIA

my DH commutes from there.. and he isnt a resident either..
he has to park on the street.. he usually can find a spot cause he gets there really early..
but i dont think you can park in the mall without a sticker either.. and i do think they check.. not 100% sure though..

There is really a ton of parking on the street if you get there before 6:00am. I believe the garages that are left are not for the commuters. The one that the town had was torn down due to cracks in the foundation.

I think only certain areas of the mall lot are designated for commuters with stickers. I'd imagine you could park in one of the other areas. Also, the Sears parking lot has spots for the LIRR as well, and I believe ther is a bus that will take you to the train.

There is a lot that costs $7 a day over there for non-residents..for the designated lots, you do need a sticker and I don't think I would chance it...
