Cold Stone Cake Batter Ice Cream and Cookie Dough
is this okay to eat? I know you aren't supposed to eat raw cookie dough or cake batter because of the raw egg...but do these have raw egg in them???

I have been eating all kinds of cookie dough ice cream for my whole pregnancy. I don't think there are real eggs in that stuff..

Yummy I had Cake Batter Ice Cream at Ralph's....I'm thinking it can't contain anything raw if they're selling it to the public, so I'm thinking it's okay.

Just ask at the store when you buy it. I was at Maggie Moo's and she said that their Better Batter ice cream does NOT have raw egg in it.
I make a really fabulous vegan blondie recipe that has no eggs in it and the batter tastes like fantastic cookie dough and is totally safe to eat raw. So it's definitely possible. BTW if anyone wants the recipe just let me know.

And I agree just ask the places - most places that are chains do not have raw egg in them -
actually I just looked it up and believe it or not neither the cake batter ice cream not cookie dough even HAVE eggs in it - let alone raw eggs. . oops edited to add - the cookie dough MIX_IN does have eggs but not the ice cream itself
