coffee pot question
i am having a problem with my coffee maker. the last 2 times i made coffee it smelled burnt, so i thought maybe the grounds were old..bought fresh grounds today, thoroughly washed my coffee machine and just made coffee---still tastes burnt and just weird..my guess is my machine is broken? has this happened to any1 b4?
anything i can do to fix it, or do i need to buy a new machine, i just got this one in december

You can actually buy coffee maker cleaner to run through your coffee maker or you can use white vinegar and run that through.

Kate's right - white vinegar and water - fill up the water part with that.....press start, as if you were going to brew a pot of coffee. Just DON'T put any coffee in there!

White vinegar & water works like a charm. I just make sure to run about 3 pots full of plain water afterward to make sure & get the vinegar taste out. Don't want anything messin' up my a.m. caffeine rush!
