CHinese Restaurants-whats your favorite on LI?
When I lived in Bklyn I had my favorites, since living on LI, I have yet to have chinese food that's blown me away!
maybe Im just not trying the right places! What's your favorite?!

Mine is Sing City in Sag Harbor
I ONLY eat chinese from this place. I worked here for 4 years in HS and TRUST it 100%!!!!!!!!!
As for the chinese out here in RI, i have YET to find one I like. And if I do get something out here, its always veggies.

when I lived in East Meadow I LOVED Happy Group in N. Merrick, it's in a shopping center next to Pat's Farms.

In Rockville Centre...Palace of Wong on Sunrise
East Meadow/Merrick....I second Happy Group
Wantagh..Love Jani and Kwong Ming
Lindenhurst...Tang's is awesome and also China Wok on Maontauk Highway is good.

Love this place too. I used to live in RVC and would get our food from there all the time.
Where I am now, there is a place in Oyster Bay we use. It used to be Taste of China and Tokoyo and then it moved and became Mid China. Still good, but very expensive!!
I also frequent Empire Schechuan (sp?) which is on Jericho tpke in Syosset. We usually eat in when we go there, although take-out is good as well.
In East Rockaway, where I grew up and my parents still live, they get their food from a small place on Atlantic Avenue, caddy-corner from St. Raymonds' school. Amazing Wok, its very good!

I haven't been to Palace of Wong in years, but I really liked it. I'd like to go back when I'm in the area. My favorite restaurant is Orchid. All of their specialty dishes are amazing.

Lee's in Bellmore Villiage
Eng's in Bellmore
Kwong Ming in Wantagh
Funny I don't even live near them but I drive 4 towns over to get Chinese every once and a while.

Was it listed on this page.. Empire Schzewan in Huntington? Very good. I believe they also have a location in Jericho or Syosset.

I haven't tried the Orient yet in Bethpage but my favorite place closed so we now are on the hunt.
Hopefully we can get their menu and give it a try soon. I keep hearing how great it is.
