I hope they didn't do a selfie near the coffin...  (I've seen several pics online of people doing that...)
Even without the selfie, it's still tacky.

Ugh it is so annoying. I can't stand the attention grabbers on Facebook.
One woman I know posts selfies of herself literally every day, and she is in her mid 30's... I had to unfollow her.

Where is the respect for the dead? I always turn off the sound on my phone at important events. In fact, I turn off the radio/music when driving into the cemetery. My mother always said it‘s showing respect.

My cousin and her husband did this - a grown woman in her 40s. My mouth dropped to the FLOOR when I saw the pic of the two of them next to the OPEN CASKET of their dead relative.
Immediately my phone was blowing up when that post hit instagram of my siblings and my mom texting me like "DID YOU SEE THAT SHIIIT!?"

Rude. Disrespectful and super tacky. We all have been to funeral and Wales but I’ve never once checked into a funeral home. Turn your phone off and pay your respects. Don’t check your “likes” at a funeral

very tacky... a girl i went to HS with tags herself at her father's gravesite at every holiday, birthday, etc. and takes a pic of the grave with the flowers. I just feel like it's too much for social media
