Chalkboard birthday sign
Anyone ever order one from etsy? Thinking about getting one for DDs 2nd birthday. I know that they send you a digital file, but where can I have it printed out and does anyone know how much it costs? Do I have to mount it to something?

Chalkboard birthday sign
There is a girl on fb who does it for $12 out of farmingdale. Cvs I believe does it for $6 and I'm going and getting a frame from the Christmas tree shop.

yes I got the digital file from etsy and had minuteman printers make up the sign. staples and kinkos do it as well. To have it printed up in 20x40 I think it was, cost about $50-$60. Then I bought spray adhesive and sprayed it to foam board that I got at the dollar store. The printer could have printed it directly on foam board for me but it was a lot more money to do that

I made one myself and it came out like the ones on etsy and saved me a lot of money, not sure if this is something you would be interested in doing though.

ha! I'm so naïve sometimes. I always assumed those signs were on a actual chalkboard and drawn with chalk.
Learn something new everyday!

I did mine freehand following the fonts best I could that I saw on etsy with chalkboard markers.

I bought paint markers at Michael's and a black foamboard from Dollar Tree and made them myself. They took 2 hours but they came out awesome.
I copied some from Pinterest and googled "chalkboard fonts" for ideas.
