I hear ya - I had to fly back from Florida on Sunday - I was a freakin mess on the plane. And I really wasn't afraid to fly before

i love that these pics don't show chaos and disorder---everyone seems to be calm and helping each other. considering the situation there could have been mass hysterics. a big kudos to the flight attendants who i'm sure kept order and calmed everyone down.

Since the pilot and crew were so good you wouldn't have died   .
These pictures are incredible everything about that plane landing was incredible. I am amazed at how well that boat captain was able to position the boat and how close he was able to get. He had so many things to worry about, the current, the wing, 150 people in the water..... he really did an awesome job.

I agree completely....I would have been flipping though, especially if I had my dd with me

Incredible pictures! Everyone from the pilot & flight crew and people that helped rescue them from the water really did an amazing job that day.

Its great that everyone survived and they had an awesome pilot and crew.
But on a side note, can you just imagine being in the hudson river - so gross, I would be scared of growing a third body part.
I know no one was thinking this because they were just happy to be alive and I would be the same, but that water creeps me out.

I can't imagine the fear they all felt. That water was so cold. They never would have lasted long had they been in the water - few minutes at most. Thank God they all survived.

Side note...
Did anyone see Capt Sully at the inauguration? I heard he was there with the crew and a few passengers. I also heard they sent them out to a free dinner and would love to know the azz who made the reservations. They sent them to a restaurant called THE HUDSON. Come on now!?!?

Great shots.
I actually was on a plane out of Laguardia - we were in the air 2 hours when this plane went down. I too am very scared of flying. DH wouldn't even tell me this happened until we were at our destination (parents called him). I couldn't believe it. I think I would have had a heart attack before the plane hit the Hudson.
