CBD oil for anxiety
Has anyone used this for anxiety? What brand specifically?
I’m thinking of giving it a try. I’m also having some issues with joint pain in my foot and it seems this may help with that too.
I looked on amazon but the options were overwhelming.

You do have to be careful, that's why I did a lot of research.
Trust me, I take it daily and have not felt the least bit high. I don't even take sweet air at the dentist- I hate drugs, I HATE feeling high or even a little off. I suffered through a kidney stone with no narcotics because I hated how the vicodins made me feel.
And so far I have not been arrested so....
I hear of people giving it to their kids for things like ADHD, etc. I can't imagine it's psychotropic if people give it to their children.
Again- yes, you have to be careful. I wouldn't just buy it off Amazon without doing some research into where it's coming from, but there are reputable brands out there and they have been very helpful to a lot of people

Can you share which brand you use?

actually this isnt totally true. There are trace amounts of ThC in CBD. You are right though, it cannot get you high. Some products are made to remove it so it can be THC free. But it is not legal in all 50 states unless it is from imported hemp. Any products from hemp grown here are technically not legal. Hemp is not a legal crop grown here unless it is under a state pilot program with the 2014 Federal farm bill.
and with that, it is not meant for commercial products. States have laws and if the product is made using hemp grown in the US, its not supposed to leave its state.
The DEA was trying to categorize CBD as a marijuana extract just recently and was upheld in the 9th circuit court. however a few days later after the ruling they decided to not actually do this and said CBD was legal FROM LEGAL SOURCES. US grown hemp is not a legal source.

Yes..b/c you want to make sure they are operating legally first and fore most. Most companies are not.
you also want to look into their extraction methods b/c some use ethanol extraction and leaves chemicals behind.
many companies are just selling flavored hemp seed oil with NO cbd in it at all.

I looked at Elixinol's website. Their products say "hemp oil." I googled the difference between hemp oil and cbd oil and it says that hemp oil is made from hemp seeds (which contain very little cbd) while cbd oil is made from hemp flowers and leaves (which contain much more cbd).

Yes, very good CBD is not cheap. Many people spend $5-$10 a day on lunch, on starbucks, etc. and think nothing of it. but if you spend money on a quality supplement you take every day and break it down over the month its not so bad, and much better for you

yes, but it is illegal to make CBD from the flowering parts (aerial parts of the plant) per the controlled substances act. so if they are making it from that, again its an illegal product.
You can get CBD from hemp.
Here is text from an article I have explaining the difference:

i've been thinking about it, but hadn't yet started seriously looking into it. after this weekend's spending spree, i'll wait a couple of weeks to recoup my savings and then i'll look at buying some.
