cat scratched me
This is our first month TTC, and I O'd about 4 days ago, so the whole week before that and that day we have been trying...so don't know if I am preggo...anyway...my cat scrathed me yesterday, I put betadine on it and neosporin, it's only a scratch, but I am scared because I knew someone who ended up with their child ion a wheel chair because of that cat scratch fever thing. I am already on an antibiotic because I have a sinus infection, should I still call the doctor, even though I dont actually know if I am preggo? TIA

You did what I would have done. I would call the doctor just to hear their opinion. If they said to come in then I would but if they said it's nothing then I would just be able to relax and feel better. Just call to make certain. I hope that I helped you out a little.

Re: cat scratched me
No worries if you're already on an antibiotic. Also, cat strach fever is rare, I've had cats (outdoor ones) my whole life and I've been scratched 100 times with no problems.
