Car booster seat questions
What did you get for a booster seat for the car? Backless or high back? 5 pt harness or car seat belt only? My DD is tall and is 4.5 years old. I feel like just the regular car seat belt isn't enough for her age. Thoughts?

My kids were in a Britax Marathon until they were about 4.5 and then I moved them over to a Graco high back booster seat (seat belt only).

At 4.5 if they must be in a booster w/ a seat belt a high back is preferred since it helps with positioning.
There's nothing wrong with keeping her in a harness either if that makes you more comfortable one.
The graco nautilus, recaro prosport, britax frontier and the upcoming First Years Unite are all higher weight harness seats (at least 65lbs) that convert to a belt positioning booster.

Thats what we have...she has a Britax Marathon, but we just bought the above one for a back up to use, cause at 8 months pregnant, I can't pull her car seat out for others to drive me DD around

I went Graco Nautilus because I could keep DD in a 5pt until she is 65lbs. She is 5 and still in a 5pt. WHen she doesn't fit anymore it converts to a high back and then a lap booster. It's a win win seat!!
