I also have Crohns. I see Dr. Perry Gould. He is on Stewart Ave in Garden City and is affiliated with Winthrop. He has a few docs in his practice that are excellent, but I like to torture him with my ailments. 
I recently had a small intestine resection and had it done at Mt. Sinai. Dr. Michael (Mickey) Harris did the surgery. the minute I met him I knew I could trust him with my guts.
Please fm if you want to discuss. I've had a long history with many gastro docs.

I have two great ones-- in Manhattan. The surgeon is one of the best doctors in NY. He like literally, saved my life.
