Nate has had shrimp before, he had no reaction to it. Don't go by me bc I'm also the one who gave him PB&J at 13 months.

My son's pediatrician said shrimp/lobster was fine. I haven't given it to him yet though. My son is 13 mos old.

Wow! I didn't know you had to wait till there 2, Julia has had shrimp, lobster, crab, and she loves it and no reactions........

My doctor said in moderation is fine. She has had it twice. First time no reaction second time her chin got blotchy so I am not sure when I will try it again.

I gave it to Tristan when he was like 14 months and he was fine. Also I am allergic to shellfish and eat shrimp...shrimp is not shellfish. Good luck, I think it is at your preference if you want DC to eat it or not.

I gave it to Kevin at about 16/17mos. Started slow and he was fine all times. I read no shellfish to 2 btu I asked my doctor and they said since he had no history of food allergies and they don't run in the family shrimp was fine - just do so slowly - not too much at once. They said the same for peanut butter too (but I have yet to try it).
