Camera is not working - fix it or buy a new one?
I have a 3 year old Pentax that is suddenly misbehaving...making a clicking sound when I turn it on and now it's hit or miss if it takes a picture. Its 3 yrs old and is a 5 MP. Should I trade up? Or fix it, assuming that its fixable?

you should probably get a new one. Fixing it would probably cost more than a new one.

Buy a new one. By the time you spend the money fixing it you can sell it on ebay ( people buy it for parts to their camera that doesn't work and you have the working parts they need) and then go get yourself a new camera!

My camera wasn't working a few weeks ago. I found out that they had a service bulletin that allowed it to be fixed for free.
Check out their website for a repair.
