Build-a-bear average cost?
About how much would it cost for 2 kids to make a stuffed animal at build-a-bear? I'm not getting a clear idea from their website. It seems the prices on their website are for pre-stuffed plushes (but what's the fun in that?)

The 2 times DD went in the past it was about $50 all in for one animal and an outfit, etc

It's probably about the same as you see online. It was a long time ago, but I think we paid about $75 each for some princess bears. The bear itself didn't cost that much, but then we got a song, hair, dress, shoes, crown.

Build-a-bear average cost?
Depends on what they want etc! But ive gone 3x for my kids, I will say once we spent $100+ then now they do the pay your age during your birthday month (they don’t ask for proof) at build a bear which makes it more affordable!

Go for a cheap bear and don't do to many add-ons. Just let them do a cheaper outfit

But isn't that only for the special birthday bear?
I'd say around $50-$60 is a safe bet and this will include some extras. We got a puppy that barks with pajamas for about $60 and a bunny that smells like cupcakes and wore a baker's outfit for around the same price.

I'd say $50-$60 per kid sounds about right. I've taken 4 kids there a couple times and each time it was a little over $200 (that's with picking bears that are on sale and using reward bucks). Each kid got a bear, with sound, an outfit and an accessory.
You can buy some of the bears online and get them stuffed at the store. Just select the "unstuffed" option when you add it to the cart. If you pick the ones on clearance it saves a ton of $. I got DS a bear online with sound for only $15 ($12 for the bear and $3 for the sound). We took it to the store to have it stuffed. He was so excited.

yes it's only for the birthday bear- we just did this. And I will say I still spent $30! The bear was $3 because DD is 3, but the Frozen sound and outfit brought it to around $30.
So to answer the OP's question: Around $50 for a bear and an outfit, expect to spend more if you add a sound. The frozen sound was like $9 or something

Build-a-bear average cost?
Thanks for all the input! Can I pay extra to NOT add sounds?  We have enough talking toys that drive me crazy! Gonna have to try to direct my kids right past the sound section!
