BTDT moms - Bathing suit for 1 year old baby - dumb Qs
So, I got those swim diapers thingies for DS at Target.
It like like "underwear" and it has a cotton lining inside.
So, what do you do? You remove the diaper? How long do you let them be in those things? I mean, DS pees and poops all the time.
I need the 101 on bathing suit for baby boys.

I only use the swim diapers when we are in the water and then change her as soon as we get out. They don't hold a lot.

What do you do if you want them to go in the water again? Do you use another swim diaper?

Are you talking about the Huggies swin diapers? They are like regular diapers only for the water. I only use them too when she's going in the water, then put her in a regular diaper as soon as she's out. And then yes, use another swim diaper when she's going back in the water.

those look exactly like the reusable swim diapers that we got for DD in her swimming class. We took her to Florida a few weeks ago and she just wore that with no other diaper....
the swimming instructor told me that you CAN use a disposable swim diaper underneath that, but it's not necessary

I think the problem with those types of swim diapers..if they poop in them, you are pretty much screwed unless you bring extras. I prefer the disposable ones for that reason.

ITA!!
We got the disposible ones and DS used them last summer (they were HUGE) and then again when we were on our cruise in December/January.
