Bridesmaid dress wont fit UPDATE
I am the Maid of Honor in my best friend's wedding in 2 months. I ordered my dress before I found out I was pregnant. Soooo . . .lets just say that dress does not fit now, let alone in 2 months!
Does anyone have the Bill Levkoff Bridesmaid Dress#417 in eggplant in a size 14 or 16? I will be 6 months preg! Or any other suggestions???

UPDATE
I have an appointment next weekend with a seamstress someone recommended here. She sounded like she has done this before and can fix it! Of course she needs to see if first! Wish me luck!

can the dress be let out anywhere? or once, when i had gained a lot of weight, not even pregnant  they were able to take the extra length from the bottom and make panels on the side to give me a few inches of extra room.

Unfortunately, my friend lives in Boston and all the bridal party lives there, I'm the only one from out of town. I won't be able to go to the place in Boston.

Thats what I was planning on but the length is perfect! I can't take it up at all!

I got it last night, so I tried it on and thats when I knew I was doomed!  I will bring it somewhere and see what they can do. I'm thinking they can't make it 3 sizes bigger though . . .but I dont know!

The salon should be able to order a panel of fabric to add to the dress. one of my bridesmaids were able to add a panel to her dress.

Thanks me too! I was in hysterics last night, total anxiety attack! Then I told DH that I would lose 10lbs and he became the voice of reason. I hate being emotional!

You're the MOH, would the bride let you wear a different style dress? My MOH didnt wear the same dress as the other bridesmaides but she wore a similar color. You can also try posting on LIW...maybe one of the girls on there is using that dress

You're the MOH, would the bride let you wear a different style dress? My MOH didnt wear the same dress as the other bridesmaides but she wore a similar color. You can also try posting on LIW...maybe one of the girls on there is using that dress
She told me today that she really wanted us all to wear the same dress. I did post on LIW! Hopefully someone has that dress!

Don't stress! This isn't your fault!
I would call the manufacturer. I know my bm dress designer (amsale) sold the fabric itself by the yard - we ordered a bunch of it to make my junior bridesmaid and flower girl's gown. So, you should be able to order just the fabric and then an excellent seamstress can make it work for sure!
ETA: Also, with 2 months to go the manufacturer might be able to accomodate you with a new bigger dress - def. call Bill Levkoff themself!

My cousin ended up preggers for my wedding! She ordered extra material and had a seamstress fix it! I have the number for the seamstress if you are interested! She's fantastic and reasonably priced! She's in Deer Park...I think!

i was 8 months pregnant when my friend got married... and we ordered extra panels and i brought the dress to a bridal shop/seamstress near me and they added in the panels.

I also ordered a bridesmaid dress before I found out I was pregnant, I will be 18 weeks at the time of the wedding. the bridal shop is ordering additional fabric and they will alter the dress to fit my belly. You can try calling the bridal shop maybe they can do something like that for you.

A BM in my bridal party needed her gown adjusted because she had gained some weight before the wedding. She needed it larger by 2 sizes and they were able to accommodate!

When I was getting married my sister was PG and we needed to order an extra panel for her dress. We had Bill Levkoff dresses as well, they should be able to provide this. Good luck!

I'm in a similar boat except that I knew I wanted to be pregnant so I ordered the dress two sizes too big, but then gained weight while on clomid, and ordered from the wrong size chart - doh! It arrived right when I got my BFP and was already too small. It is too long though so I'm hoping they can make some panels or something from the extra length. The wedding is next month so hopefully I won't have popped yet and I need to find a good seamstress!
