It depends if they liked the original Mary Poppins. My kids (boy and girl) just could get through it at 6 & 7. Will try again when they are older.

I feel like there are a lot of kids in general who aren’t interested in Mary Poppins. I never was.

Even my daughter is not interested in seeing Mary Poppins. I tried to show both kids the original a few years ago and had to turn it off. They hated it.

My boys are 9 and 7. It wouldn't be there first choice to see. If they were invited to a bday party and that was the movie they would be fine. Not something I'd take them to see personally. I took them years ago to see Frozen with friends. They were fine with that, but younger. Now they can't stand that movie. LOL

my oldest just turned 8 and i don't think he would be interested in it.... he's looking forward to Ralph Breaks the Internet though.... and theres a pokenmon movie thats coming out this summer that he's already talking about LOL

So my boys, no.
But my friend's son, who is like Mr. Tough Guy in every other respect LOVES Mary Poppins. LOL. So much so that I am taking him (just the two of us) to see the remake when it comes out.
Yeah, so I think it depends on the kid

My kids (DS is 5 and DD is 3) asked to see the movie when it comes out. I think we'll be seeing it on Xmas Day. They love the song Supercalifragilicousexpialidocious.

Wow I had no idea a new one was coming out.
I thought this was a sequel from like 1980 or something.
But again- we aren't movie people. My DD can't sit through a movie, and honestly, neither can I... I find movies torture.
