Plainview, NY – Get ready for a strikingly special night as the Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center hosts the 2nd annual "Bowling for K.I.S.S. Classic" to benefit The K.I.S.S. Center. This fun-filled evening for adults featuring bowling, dinner, drinks and raffles will take place on Saturday, January 12, from 8-11 p.m. at AMF Syosset Lanes, Jericho Turnpike & Eileen Way, Syosset. The cost is $68 per individual and $136 per couple.

Created in September 2005 with funding from The J.E. and Z.B. Butler Foundation, The KISS Center offers services to high functioning children with developmental disabilities and learning disabilities including language delay, ADHD, Asperger’s and Autism Spectrum disorders. It provides a safe and non-threatening environment in which children with special needs can develop socially, strengthen fine and gross motor skills, and foster independence, confidence and self-esteem.

The KISS Center just received a grant from AUTISM SPEAKS to run a special needs camp for preschoolers-teens.
