Bought tickets to ride Thomas the tank!
We just bought tickets to take Emily to ride Thomas the tank. Has anyone done this before? If so, what did you think of the whole experience? My daughter has recently become obsessed with Thomas. She is very excited about going.

We've never been, but were contemplating taking my son on the Thomas train ride in Essex, CT this November....
Day out with Thomas
I'd be interested in hearing if other people have gone...

I had cousins that went & they raved about it. They did it when it was in Pennsylvania earlier this summer. My SIL w/b bringing my nieces to Essex. From what I hear, the kids loved it though & it was definitely worthwhile.

I'm in Ohio and it is coming to our town in two weeks. I've heard great things about it and Jack cannot wait! I'll let you know how it goes.

We went to Essex Ct back in July (it was soooo hot!!)
HE LOVED IT! They have a bunch of tents set up with all different things...train tables, coloring, stamps, tattoos. They even have a HUGE tent where you can buy anything & everything Thomas (and shocking enough, it wasnt overly expensive either).
After we walked around we went down to the train station for the ride and the look on his face was PRICELESS.
Its definately worth the trip if you child is a Thomas fanatic.

We went last year - to the Waterbury, CT event. It was great ~ my son still talks about it, and he asks all the time if we can go again!

We've been to both Essex and Strasburg. We had a such a great time at both, but I liked Strasburg better. They had more to do there.

Us too. We went last June and had so much fun. We're also hitting Dutch Wonderland, too. My 4 year old can't wait!
