I have two birthdays coming up for 7 year olds and not sure what to give. What's new, what's their interest at this age?

I have a school aged boy and found that he likes:
Action Figures
Dart (nerf) Gun
Nerf/reg football
Anything Spiderman
Video Games (if boy has DS/PSP or game systm)
Army stuff
Spy stuff
